🌠 BACKGROUND
- Born and raised in Japan. Apparently a 'country bumpkin' by her own admission, but where she actually lives or anything about her childhood is left vague. When she attended a Shiny Chariot performance when she was a child, she immediately developed an obsession with magic that lead to her transferring to the Luna Nova academy on the Isle of Mann when she turned 16.
- Turns out magic is hard to learn and being 16 years behind everyone else--all other students being members of traditional magic families who began learning as children--and so the experience immediately became a difficult and confusing one, rather than the magical adventure she expected.
- Her lack of magical knowledge and skill are played for laughs, but if you were put into a calculus course without having ever been taught how to add or subtract, you wouldn't do too well either! And, atop that, it is revealed that as a child her mana had been extracted from her body, which would require a long period of therapy to recover from, which contributed to her inability to perform certain tasks.
- She found what she calls the Shiny Rod and attributes as Shiny Chariot's magic wand, but this is in actuality the Claiomh Solais and is the key reviving Yggdrasil, the source of the world's leylines and all magic. After passing seven trials and acquiring the Seven Words of Arcturus, she does just that.
